Story Behind The Song
Little Pigeon River is a river in Gatlinburg Tennessee. I went there every summer as a kid, but haven't been back since my 40s. I rolled my pants up, and stepped into the waters with my guitar, and wrote the song about my favorite river.

Lyrics
Little Pigeon River - Rob Redwine
Little River, Tennessee,
You are a site for these sore eyes to see,
Little River, missed you so,
Have'nt seen you since I was ten or so,
Chorus
The autumn leaves fall, from,
Trees above it all, and,
Then they ride upon the waves,
Roll up my pants up then,
Dip my toes in, and,
River carry me away...
Carry me away...
Little River, your eyes so green,
You are the best thing that I've ever seen,
Little River, Flow so free,
I can feel your water take hold of me,
Chorus
The autumn leaves fall, from,
Trees above it all, and,
Then they ride upon the waves,
Roll up my pants up then,
Dip my toes in, and,
Let you carry me away,
Carry me away...
Little River, how have you been,
Once you say hello you say goodbye again,
Little River, my old friend,
Just don't say goodbye, goodbye again,
Chorus
Roll up my pants up then,
Dip my toes in, and,
Float down just around the way,
The autumn leaves fall, from,
Trees above it all, and,
Then they ride upon the waves,
Carry me away...
