Song Description
This is a rock song that I co-wrote and produced in the style of Pat Benatar. My road band made this recording back in the day; (the 80s). We got a lot of regional airplay with this song at the time and shared the Top 10 on a show called "Bay State Rock" with the likes of Billy Squier, The Cars, Till Tuesday, J.Geils Band, etc. It was recorded totally on analog gear at the prestigious Long View Farm in North Brookfield, MA by J.Geils engineer Jesse Henderson. This song was the third finalist in The Music City Song Festival in Nashville, TN out of 10,000 entrants!

Lyrics
Oughta Be Treated (80s Rock)
Too many promises, too many lies.
I've seen it in your face before, it's in your eyes.
You abuse my body and then say your sorry
Chorus:
You don't treat me like a woman.
No, you don't treat me like a woman.
You don't treat me like a woman.
Oughta be treated.
Too many games been played, too many times.
Mess with your own life boy, you can't have mine.
I'm not out of danger, your actin' like a stranger.
Chorus:
You don't treat me like a woman.
No, you don't treat me like a woman.
You don't treat me like a woman.
Oughta be treated.
(Guitar Solo)
Chorus:
You don't treat me like a woman.
No, you don't treat me like a woman.
You don't treat me like a woman.
Oughta be treated.
