I wrote this song when I was just 14. It was my imagination running away with me with the saddest story I could ever imagine.

A homeless girl that gives birth on the street and it all comes to a tragic end.

Down a street lit busy way
a sweet little baby and it's mother lay
Baby just born and all alone
young mother dead she was unknown

and nobody noticed the bundle of joy
or even checked if it was a girl or a boy
just an innocent baby brought to this harsh world

Just like the last petal on the rose slips off slides down the stem
a vague whimper of a baby as it's life comes to an end
last wriggle of it's little toes on those tiny cold feet
last pump of it's tired heart
It struggles at the final beat
