Story Behind The Song

I wrote this piece as a dedication to a friend of mine, Mike Green of Massachusetts. Mike is a Bluegrass player and also plays 5-string banjo. I attempted to put in some of the techniques that Mike uses in his playing style. Several years ago Mike lost a son and the bridge reflects his inner sadness at this tragic event in his life. However, the piece is up-tempo as is Mike, who is one of the good guys, this ones for you Mike!
