Song Description
"By The Fireplace" is taken from "On Vacation", a set of 4 short pieces for string quartet . It depicts a married and loving couple lounging by the fireplace, sipping champagne and having an intimate conversation in their little holiday cottage in the mountains.
I was inspired to write this piece after listening to the soundtracks from the movie "Cinema Paradiso".
