Story Behind The Song
My daughter loves folk music. I wanted to do a song reflecting on life. In 2020 we've all been apart, but I visualized people sitting around a camp fire, and just telling stories about life.
Song Description
The real message of the song is that everyone has a story to tell. Timid or Bold...all of us have a story to share. And the final message is that "the distance between us isn't anything" because even though 2020 has been a rough year, we still have each other.

Lyrics
Wild Winds (title)
(Verse 1)
Could be a million
reasons why
The atmosphere's a bit
rough and unkind
But now I'm noticing extraordinary things
Swept up by wild winds
(Pre-chorus)
Find connection in a story you brought down along the way
Share direction in the whisperings
of love and challenged faith
(Chorus)
Winter has its days of warmth and cold
Room here for the timid and the bold
Every set of fire eyes shows memories on rewind
And promises never left behind
(Verse 2)
In the dirt between the rocks
there's gold to find
All the leaves will drift along,
They'll roll on by,
Yeah they will, if you give it a
bit of time
But don't forget your spent fortunes and lost dreams
Swept up by wild winds
(Pre-chorus)
Find connection in a story you brought down along the way
Share direction in the whisperings of love and challenged faith
(Chorus)
Winter has its days of warmth and cold
Room here for the timid and the bold
Every set of fire eyes shows memories on rewind
And promises never left behind
(Outro)
And the distance between us isn't anything
And the distance between us isn't anything
It all disappears with the wild winds
And the distance between us isn't anything
And the distance between us isn't anything
And the distance between us isn't anything
It all disappears with the wild winds
And the distance between us isn't anything
