OMG, is this Johnny Cash? I thought you were dead, seriously, you sound like Cash, You should do some country songs, you'd be famous. and great guitar playing too.
The engaging, beautiful guitar intro is perfect for this highly poetical composition. The song consistently uses an oceanic metaphor that is gently and skillfully woven through the whole composition. It's one of those memorable songs that poses questions poetically that no one can really answer, but we all love hearing it so poignantly expressed. Obviously, this writer is a skilled lyricist and is highly original. Bravo! I absolutely love the interplay between the 2 guitars. Five star guitars! Favorite lyric: Sweet salt air just before you die. The last line is a keeper, too "not defined by who we really are." You've got some great stuff here...keep it coming!
