Story Behind The Song
The story is written from the perspective of someone so in love that they feel it is bordering on obsession - it's dangerous. The are anxious to find out if the object of their affection feels the same about them.
Song Description
A haunting minimal, piano-led ballad with sparse strings here and there. This has a make vocal but is intended for a female singing one octave up. At the time of writing I don't have the budget for a female singer!
I envision a large, lush, production for the artist who records it, however I feel the song felt it had more potential in it's stripped down form here.

Lyrics
Dangerous
(Words and music by Gareth Ebbs)
Lying awake next to you
Its only a quarter past two
Way too quiet to scream
Too early for me to be saying those things
Every time you say goodbye
That clock starts in my head
And I wait and feel suspended time
Until we're back in bed
This love is dangerous
This love is dangerous
I'm losing my head
I'm right on the edge
Don't push me off
I always wonder about you
Do you freak out the way that I do
About somebody stealing my mind or me leaving for something new
I don't know how it goes
I'm losing this game I need some restraint
Can anything good cause this much pain
Every time my number's dialled
My heart leaps to the sky
And I wait until your fingers find me slowly losing my mind
This love is dangerous
This love is dangerous
I'm losing my head
I'm right on the edge
Don't push me off
Is this right
Am I just waiting time
Night after night
Waiting for signs
I can't sleep
That's why I walk the streets
And I won't eat
Til I know what we mean
Dangerous
This love is dangerous
I'm losing my head
I'm right on the edge
Don't push me off
