Story Behind The Song
The story is sinister one.
Inspired by a news story, the protagonists are a couple, with one child, who are extremely mentally ill, but madly in love.
Unfortunately the couple decide that they, and the world, would be better off if they killed themselves and their mentally ill child.
This is what goes on in the song.
Song Description
A dark, sinister, heavy, electro-rock song. Heavy in the verses with a sumptuous, harmony laden refrain-type chorus.
The darkness and horror of the subject matter (murder-suicide) in the verses, it tempered by the tenderness of the love the couple express for each other in the choruses.
Overall, this is clearly a very dark song, but it is also intended to express the reality of genuine love and affection that sometimes exists in the most unlikeliest of situations.

My dear come in and close the door
Bring me some stones so they don't wash up on the shore
Our only consolation is we know it's not too late
To stop the world from knowing the kind of monsters we create
Kill me now
I love you so much baby
Isn't this just the best way to go out
Kill me now
We're two of a kind
Isn't this just a sweet way to go down
Darling we've been through this before
We're too well suited
We've far too much in common
We can't stay here with these snakes inside our minds
Who knows what's waiting for us if there's another side
We've got to go my love to go
Hold on now this is it
There was never room for the four of us in this relationship
Kill me now
I love you so much baby
Isn't this just the best way to go out
Kill me now
We're two of a kind
Isn't this just a sweet way to go down
Put me down
We love the both of you and I could never hope to tell you how
You are somebody forever etched upon me
You embody me
