Story Behind The Song

Song was written in the first batch of material for the band, singer James Scott wrote most of the material while reflecting on past situations and relationships in his life that he had tried to save and hold on to. The song's lyric content reflecting on this in many different ways. Producer Ben Schigel helped trim down some of the longer passages in the lyrics to help the song take on a new shape and a more moving feel.

Song Description

This song reflects many different situations in life, suicide, loss, depression all with a very determined chorus and even hopeful bridge. Very subtle yet jovial guitar-work in the verses makes for a very dynamic mood all throughout the song.
