Love the acoustic guitar!
This could have appeared on any of America's first five albums. The desert theme that Dewey loved, the major seventh chords. It has an easy pleasant melody with lovely crisp guitar playing. It has the pondering kind of lyrics like America's song "Three Roses." To me, the base words and music are always the primary thing and this song does a great job of it, and it also has very clean top production, too.
reminds me of steve earle, would have liked to hear a little subdued lead behind the guitar chords, i found the song more country than rock and even a steel for mood. Vocal tone and delivery is very very good.
This is a really cool song!! The melody and groove really keep the listener engaged! There are some really nice images, and the desert sun works very well as a central theme as a metaphor for the singer's love. REALLY like this song!!
man this is a really good song! everything done great and very original. the lyrics were totally unique. no cliches in the song. vocals match the style of music.
This tune is really easy on the ears. Puts you to mind of a lot of the Eagles stuff. Nice tone to your voice. Song builds really nicely. Instrumentation is ideal for this piece. Really good and pleasant sound.
This song reminds me of the easy listening rock from the early '70's - like America, Bread, and James Taylor. This artist definitely has the feel for that time period. His gift is that he makes it work in the year 2016.
Very good nice feel to the song
Beautiful tune with nice vocal performance. A well done cross between rock and country.
loved it! what kind of mic is on the acoustic..it sounds so big...did you record the G in stereo?
love the sound of hot summer and fire ... go on
Beautiful song! Love the vocals.
