Story Behind The Song
As a native New Yorker, I grew up in Spanish Harlem and in my youth I would always walk around my neighborhood hearing Latin (particularly Salsa) blasting from store speakers. It's a music I grew up with, and overtime I hear it, I get that "home" feeling. As a student at Full Sail University, I had to do a class project, and as I was arranging the instruments, and just experimenting, I noticed a sound forming, and I started to realize that it had a Latin flavor. In the past, I would always tell friends I always wanted compose a song that had a Salsa sound. This was my chance.
Song Description
The music will definitely get you out of your seat with a fast paced Latin sound. The music has the pulsating rhythm beats of drums, bongos, Congas, and Cow Bells. And it's rounded out with the lively sounds of the horns and piano groove. As a person who grew up in Spanish Harlem NYC, I listened to Salsa, and various other types of Latin music my whole life, and it has been a dream of mine to, someday, compose a Latin music piece.
