Story Behind The Song

My former wife had an affair after 9 years of marriage. Before moving out 2 days notice, she had become emotionally and verbally abusive; she seemed to take pleasure in it. She moved out when our eldest was 4 and our twins were 1. Forgiving her has been a long process, so i wrote a song about it.

Song Description

Everyone will, at some point, experience an opportunity to say "I forgive you" to someone who's hurt them. This song speaks to that feelings and thoughts that one may have leading up to that moment.
