Story Behind The Song
Initial song I produced for "Bloody Mary," though I wasn't asked. I was actually working as a grip for the film during production, and using my voice, a laptop, and some loops and guitars I had recorded produced the original, certainly less refined version of this song.
Song Description
Pop-y end-title track for Kat Picture's "Bloody Mary." Kind of a downbeat, Depeche Mode / NIN-type fair, this song was meant to reflect the creepiness of the film while being somewhat edgy and, well, cool. Industrial, goth, alternative is a majority of my background, so it was natural for me to sequence heavy and evil like this.

Lyrics
You're hands grope through the darkness
The far reaches of your mind
The moon is full
the stars are aligned
Illuminating nothing
But the edges of your being
Someone is there,
But you can't see a thing
The curse is written
On the face, in the mirror
And if you seek to find me
You'll have found your deepest fear
Say you believe (x3)
And you will never leave here
I can feel it in you
The warmth is giving way
Can you remember the light of day?
You peer into the void
Cannot find the words to speak
The only light left
Is weak
The curse is written
On the face, in the mirror
And if you seek to find me
You'll have found your deepest fear
Say you believe (x3)
And you will never leave here
