Story Behind The Song
I wrote this as a dedication to the good relationships that people have in their past. Many times we focus on the bad ones but I find it's good to remember the "Stacys" that I've come to know.
Song Description
A deeply soulful R&B song about a man reminiscing about an old girlfriend named Stacy. This song embodies the very nature of soul with its smooth guitar, rhodes, and organ blending with a flowing bass and drum groove and smooth vocals.

Lyrics
Verse 1:
5 foot 6 brown skinned
With them hazel eyes
Always dressed to win
That's how she caught my eye
Cute smile with the figure to match
But still more inside
How did we ever part ways
Where did you go and hide
Thought I saw you one day
On a date with some guy
Damn that should've been me
Looking in your eyes
Chorus:
I remember when
You laughed at me and we were holding hands
I messed around and now I've lost my chance
I still smile when I think about
Stacy, stacy, stacy
Verse 2:
Must've been about six years
Since I felt your thighs
How could I ever forget when we kissed you would close your eyes
At night I would call you up
We would talk til morning time
All my boys was jealous of me
Cause my girl was so fine
I tried to call you last year
I couldn't get you out of my mind
Now all I can do is reminisce to when your was mine
