Story Behind The Song
Written to inspire my kids to not give up on their dreams
Song Description
This is a country anthem based on the old idea of high schools voting kids "most likely to succeed" and delivered as a parent talking to a child. The verses have a calm, slow tempo feel to them, the choruses keep getting bigger throughout the song (each one modulates up a step). It's got a fun feeling, rocking bridge.

Lyrics
This small town, I love it
But small thinking, I had to learn to rise above it
Yeah, that picture in the yearbook held more promise than it seems
One committed person can change a lot of things
CHORUS
I'm the most likely to try something that's darn near impossible
The least likely to let go of a dream
Believe as big as you want son
Life loves a dreamer who can get things done
See, staying true to you makes you most likely to succeed
V2
You've got to put a hand out to get a hand back up
We're all in this together
It's gonna take a lot of love
To climb these walls that have been put up by doubt
One of these days we're gonna stand up top
And me, I'm gonna shout CHORUS
BRIDGE
Failure is not the end of the road
It's just your moment to reload
That's when you recommit to excellence
If it seems to hard to handle
That's when you turn to my example
Look at me son, if I'm not dying I'm still trying CHORUS
