Story Behind The Song

This song came about during rehearsal. From memory there two of us doing one thing (jamming) and the rest of us doing something else. Then we combined them and it worked. It took sometime to get the current structure so there was numerous rearranging. Normally we would throw the song away if it different come together sooner however we all felt that this song was worth pursuing. Mike's lyrics, particularly the chorus lyrics hook up the song.

Song Description

Whilst the lyrics may have darker edge to them, the music is quite uplifting and pulsating, the contrast seems to work. So I guess it's the silver lining aspect in a way with someone debating with themselves with a sense of perspective.
