I really did write this as a request for my sister's birthday, with slightly different lyrics and it was sent to BBC Radio 2 in the UK. Sadly it was never played.
Song Description
A guy/girl is still in love with a long lost girl/boyfriend. So he/she tries unsuccessfully to contact them on their birthday by a radio request. Unfortunately the DJ doesn't read the request on air.
