Story Behind The Song

Carlos Santana has been an inspiration for my playing in many ways. I like the way he and Steve Howe keep re-inventing their songs to keep them alive. This song lived in my consciousness long before I finally recorded it in Paul Fanguy's basement studio in July of 2010.

Song Description

I added some harmony and an even freer rhythmic feel to this song. I wanted to give my impression of another direction it could go after being so inspired by a very beautiful melody.
