Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song for a friend who I used to play music with. We went our different ways but have kept in touch through the years. He told me one day that he wished we had never given up on our dreams of old. This song was my way of telling him that our paths lead us where they do for a reason and that we have good lives now and there is no need for regret and music is still very much a part of what we do. This song was my way of saying goodbye to past and hello to the present.
