She's a single mom who works two jobs just to pay the bills,
Still cries each night cause she feels so alone,
Her faith gets weak and often she needs answers,
As she tries to raise two children on her own.

So she prays to the Lord for strength and courage,
To accept the things in life that come her way,
She doesn't always hear the words she wants to,
Sometimes the only answer is to wait.

She's been faithful now two lonely years since the accident,
Her husband never saw the car that ran the light,
Her dreams are filled with questions she can't answer,
Days are spent with memories she can't hide.
