Story Behind The Song
I wanted to create a song entireley using Apple's GarageBand. The lyrics, as always, are brought from whatever I am reading or studying at the time.
Song Description
The song verses mirror many Eastern Phillosophies and the lectures of philosopher, Allan Watts. By switching our focus onto what we want and not on what we had we can realize our control over our lives. The hook can be anything from deep togetherness to a sport team rally.

Lyrics
Don't Give It Up
I have shifted my attention to what I want and off of what of what I had.
I've had my fill of abstractions
I pay by thoughts: these are the hands.
Sitting silently I begin to tear down the walls.
I blend with what I hear
Taste the colors that appear
I am nothing I am all.
So I listen to myself saying
Don't give up, just keep on top until you see the sucker drop
When I realize my control I shake the ghosts, I shake the fears.
The illusion of the persecuted ego up and disappears.
So I role it on down with the...
Music dances delightful.
Wish, desire, will, passion, thrive
You are not the image of yourself realize
You are here because it was your intent to survive.
(Deep inside my mind I find another me in space or time)
Don't give up, just keep on top until you see the sucker drop
