It starts out like a quiet phone call with secret confessions and low tones, it builds up and then here comes the delightful surprise: an assertive catchy chorus that implores "Come out tonight, girl!" with high tones with harmony. It's a really effective contrast. Instruments are few but are meticulously arranged and has a lot of atmosphere. The song is well written, too, as it can stand on its own if you were to sing it with a single vocal and one instrument. I can't say that it's retro, actually it borrows from arrangements that worked in the past but it's as current as can be.
great song & perfect mix. Loving the placement of the vocals. Good harmonies on the hook. Very pleasant listening.
The tune instantly starts driving and has a commercial flare to it. Enjoyed the arrangement and the vocal harmonies. Reminded me of a mix between Tom Petty and Take That.
This is a solidly written track!!! All of the instruments are well played and are very complimentary to the song! Good Luck!!!
great entry, quality retro sound. the chorus is classic--very cool, and holds the song together well.
Solid song. Love the originality. I like the hook, easy to sing along with. Would love to hear this in my car. I'd definitely be singing along - "Come On Tonight Girl." Right on brother.
emotive male vocal, well crafted lyrics w quadruple rhymes lol, chorus adds nice keys, very good songcrafting in the verses, creative stuff...
