Story Behind The Song

Hey Chap.... I was wondering if you had finished your CD. If so I've got an idea for a song. Gee ya think? Anyway I was in the middle of a dream last night and this old song by WAR "Slippin In To Darkness" came into my head. And Yes, I do have soundtracks in my dreams. Anyhow, it was this really cool funky rock hip hop version. So I got up and laid down some rough tracks. It's not exactly as it was in the dream but a close approximation. The most important part was the screaming lead that ran through it. And that's where you come in. If you get a chance give it a listen and tell me what ya think. It's really rough as it was 3AM, one take ....done. (yeah yeah, yes Brian.. I know) But you'll get the general idea and decide if it's worth the effort. Kenney PS: In the dream version, I kept hearing this church organ with a Leslie come in and out here and there. Kinda sad sounding. And then there was a guy rappin about somethin or other.
