Despite my rating I liked this instrumental. Reminded me of The Shins and other in that vein. Meloncholic (sp?) feel, Nice cetnral melody. The lofi noise at the begining .. I dunno. The musc comes in with the theme but I was so ready for
vox to come in -- sigh :-). I wanted a lyric but this was not the writers intention. I don't like using one star but when they ask about quality of vocal or lyric they should provide a 'doesn't apply'. The only time I will do a one star and the only reason.
I really like the guitar tone. Great melodies
A very pretty melody starts to emerge at around 37 seconds. It would be nice to see that developed a bit more -- shifting key, adding a more minor feel and then back to the main theme.
Catchy little number. I can see this definately beeing used in TV, maybe for advertising or a theme for show. maybe a programme's end titles. Good guitar work throughout and could listen to this over and over. Maybe even do a song together in the future, who knows.
Nice progression , reminds me of The Cure or The Cars.
Very happy and light hearted song, that easily produces images in the listeners mind and could very well be placed with a number of things in the market! It's both recorded well and has excellent dynamics. I would LOVE to hear some lyrics and think it has the potential to be a VERY GOOD song if the right lyricist is found for the number! Excellent work!
Nice bouncy feel to this with some interesting ideas in interplay between the guitars. That, along with a few slightly quirky (in a good way) elements made this tune interesting.
