I think there is a good idea here. The song has some nice sections to it. The general feel is good and it sounds like it might want to be a vocal song.

Very melodic and laid back feel. Pretty song that I could see being used in Films/TV scenes.

I Like the Solo Leading into the Vamp as well as the beginning it Definitely reminds me of a beetles Tune I believe if you got some nice Lyrics and a couple more Key Changes you will have a nice project
