Story Behind The Song
Someone sings to the person he left, because he was not ready for a new relationship. He did know that from the beginning and knew that the other person world be hurt. It´s a sort of apology for his behaviour.
Song Description
Music arranged with processed guitar and keyboards/electronics. Most of it is programmed.
I was trying to create a soundscape that is odd and haunting, complex but not complicated - like the lyrics describing the situation. Honest and bold but still not too easy to grasp. Tried to weave beauty into the crude.

Lyrics
Right
Your best friend slapped my face without a word -
the place was crowded and she spilt my coffee on my pants.
I had to smile my bitter smile because I knew I really did deserve that
treatment - or much worse.
I guess I had no right to get so close (to you) when my
heart was not free - and I knew so
I had no right to pull you into my darkness
Had no right to seize your soul
You´re right when you call my behaviour cynical and it´s your
right - your very right - to hate me.
I am sorry for being such a swine
I was aware that it was quite unfair ´cause there's no
doubt I wasn't over her, I wasn't over her. I was just
lookin' for some comfort and I found it in your smile although I
knew: You would be wasted
I had no right to pull you into my sickness
had no right to fool you like that
You're right when you call my behaviour violent and it's your
right - your very right - to despise me
I had no right to pull you into my darkness
Had no right to seize your soul
Yes, i confess I was ambiguous on purpose
You gave it all but I rejected what I pretended to need the most
But I´m afraid I´d be doing it again
