Lyrics
I was a navy man
Lost out at sea
Without the truest love
Waiting home for me
The truest love one?s ever seen
We built a home for two
That grew to six
A special kind of love
Yes we were blessed
A special kind of love that can't be fixed
It was an August night
When she went away
Waited up for the morning light
But it never came
No the morning light she's never shown her face
Now tears fall in the night
As I lie alone
Lost out again at sea
She's no longer waiting home for me
The truest love one's ever seen
The truest love there'll ever be
