This song was inspired by excuses and procrastination and how it seems that we as people find some sort of conditionality to justify starting or completing any given goal or task in life. As in, "I will do that 'as soon as' this or that occurs". The point is that there should be no such rules on living life, and that there is never a perfect time to achieve something.
