Story Behind The Song
This is the very first song I brought to Producer and soon to be Co-Writer Mark Riddick. It was a much simpler Southern Rock style slide guitar tune about Sweet Little Jamie who might be too skinny but sure could Rock & Roll. Mark just had to show off and before I knew it Jamie morphed into the daughter of a witch in the bayou. I contributed a few ideas about no one ever escaping her charms alive but Mark basically rewrote the song. Who was I to argue with what I could see was a great improvement. This was the first time I heard the mystery vocalist aka Luther Hicks. Damn Luther it sounds like you wrote the song! Jon Conley plays the fantastic rhythm and slide guitars.
