Better Life

The Texas Rock Band, Common Ground formed in 1990, and now over 2 decades later, the Waco, TX college classmates continue to write, record and perform. CG has released three all-original CDs and several singles and this video uses vintage footage from around 1996-2004. The video was shot mostly by long-time friend Kurt Kosted and editied by video guru Troy Shaw who also directed/edited CGs "Not Me" video. This video has various scenes shot at the famed Antones in Austin (for an Epic Records / Music Gorilla Showcase), other clubs on 6th St in Austin including Coyote Ugly, The Vibe and The Dizzy Rooster. Footage also includes Summer Sounds at Indian Springs Park in Waco and a nationally-broadcasted show for PBS and many other locations. Hair styles & fashion changed, but hey its the life - this is Common Grounds "Better Life". "Better Life" can be heard on Gene Simmons Family Jewels (Episode #115), a North Carolina Lottery Commercial (TV and Radio) and many other placements.
