Bio
With a broad range of influences ranging from Jennifer Knapp to Janis Joplin, Beth Stalker's soulful voice is a refreshing new sound in contemporary christian music.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Beth started performing when she was only three years old. Known as "Little Liz", Beth released her first album entitled "Jesus Loves Me", getting air time on radio stations across the country. As a five year old she even performed at the Gospel Country USA music festival at Opryland sharing the stage with legends like Porter Wagoner and Roy Acuff.
In 2005, Beth exploded onto the Detroit Music scene winning 6 Detroit Music Awards for her independetntly produced contemporary Christian CD "Here With You" - including the Best Limited Budget Music Video and "The People's Choice" awards. One of the songs from the critically acclaimed project also went on
to win the Grand Prize for Peavey's 40th anniversary song writing contest.
A life-long fan of Jazz, Beth recorded a CD of Jazz standard called "Hallelujah, I Love Him So" in 2006.
Beth is currently un-signed but working on her latest album scheduled to be released in 2008.
