JeanRicard is a Haitian singer and also a citizen of the world, he lives in Chicago. He is an activist, songwriter, and composer. JeanRicard sings for hope and justice in his home country, his adopted country, and as well as around the world. At a very young age he started singing in one of the most-well-known gospel a capella groups, Choeur Celeste, amongst 7th day Adventist churches in Haiti where he was born and raised.
In 1998 JeanRicard recorded one of the best a capella album to the top charts in Haiti. His original song, "Tande Vwam (which is creole for hear me Lord) which instantly became one of the public's favorites. The same album continues to inspire many from his homeland on the radio waves.
JeanRicard moved to the U.S in 2001 to be with family. Two years later he joined the Army where he enlisted from 2003 to 2011. While in the military, he performed in many locations including, but not limited to: churches in South Carolina, Virginia, Florida, New Jersey, and Cali
