Sam Welch is a Boston-based singer-songwriter who has been producing original music for over 20 years.  Sam has produced vocally resonant pop/alternative hits that focus on the issues of spiritual transcendence and emotional dysregulation.  Sam connects these themes to the natural world , seeing recovery through the lens of balance/imbalance in the world around us.  Sam works as a psychiatric counselor when not creating music and admits to having “lived experience” in relation to the mental  health journey.

2025 album underway

My next album is scheduled for release in the spring of 2025.  I will continue to address the themes of spiritual transcendence and emotional dysregulation, layering vocals on top of original keyboard progressions.  Some headline songs will include the songs Jerusalem, Cat on the Mend, and The Attic
