Tamara has long been recognized as one of the top female vocalists and gifted performers in Barbados. She has aptly been dubbed "The Diva of diversity". Whether Tamara lends her voice to Blues, Gospel, Jazz, Broadway, Reggae, Rock, Contemporary Opera or Calypso, she exudes an amazing mastery of musical styles and genres.
At age 4, she made her debut in the live theatre production of 'The King and I' at The O'Keefe Centre Toronto, & a CBC TV Special with world renowned Lou Rawls.
At age 11 Tamara became a household name in BARBADOS, by appearing in shows across the island.
Returning to Canada she claimed a major role in the Off Broadway musical 'The Me Nobody Knows', which starred Irene Cara, & back to Barbados, winning numerous awards for her singing & songwriting.
Tamara toured as lead vocalist with many local bands leading to world tours with reggae star Maxi Priest, including Reggae Sunsplash and Spirit of Unity tours.
