Travis had a college band for several years that packed venue after venue in SC, but he has been a solo performer in the Southeast since 1999, and moved to Nashville in 2001. He completed a debut album, Spin, in '02. His singles, "A Little Too Much" and "Spin" were chosen for Nashville 102.9's compilation for the Best of the Local Buzz cd. He toured with his band in '03 and got to open for Vertical Horizon at Texas' 40 Acres Fest. In the mid-2000's, Travis recommitted his life to Christ and has been doing worship ministry ever since in his hometown in SC.

College radio stations across the country have added Travis' CD, Spin, into medium and heavy rotation. In April 2003, the band opened for Vertical Horizon at University of Texas' "40 Acres Fest." Internet stores have since put all of his albums on consignment leading to thousands of CD sales to date. Also, two local entertainment publications, The Nashville Scene and The Rage, have both picked the band as their "Critics' Pick". The album, Spin, in a word is "WOW" (amazon.com 2002).
