I have always been a big fan of the classic Pop/Rock acts over the years such as The Beatles/Elvis/Queen/Bowie/Trex/and The StrayCats,a hugely underated band in my view, but I also love a lot of the new acts that are emerging at the moment such as Starsailor,Daniel Powter,Supergrass,TomBaxter,Coldplay,KT tunstell and Keane e.t.c,I hope whoever listens to the stuff I write hears a bit of heart and soul in each song because that's what I'm aiming at.If they manage to make you happy or a little bit sad then I.ve achieved my aim,and if you don't hear a little bit of Beatles influence in a lot of it then I'll be suprised, the music scene owes a hell of a lot to John,Paul,Gearge and Ringo and long may it do so. Love and Light Adam.

Ever since I heard 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen at the age of five my life changed dramatically and I was suddenly switched onto music on a far deeper level. The chord changes, smooth harmonies,Freddies vocals,Brian's gorgeouse guitar and Dynamics of the whole song was like having someone jump start my heart. From then on it was The Beatles, who were always being played in the home and on the car stereo, singing along to 'She loves You' and 'knowhere man' e.t.c I seemed to absorb the feel of there music which now seems to crop up in the arrangements of my songs quite frequently!I wrote my first song when I was seven at primary school, which I hasten to add was pretty awful, and also tried to form my first band when I was ten, inspired by Rock 'n' Roll music,The Stray Cats energetic rockabilly and the re release of ,'Imagine' after John Lennons death. The band lasted about three weeks! But there is a recording somewhere of four ten year olds sounding dyer?I then wrote my first half descent song at nineteen called,"Nothing like the summer".It then went on to become a marathon songwriting expedition trying to get to grips with rhyme and metre while at the same time trying to coin a descent melody, needless to say I have a folder of about fifty songs that I would never want anyone to hear as they were all from the,'finding my way period'.Anyway,I then started writing better, more commercial sounding songs, some being Christian as I have always kept an open mind about spirituality, but most being poppy sounding 60's,70's influenced songs. There are some great new musical acts coming out at the moment and I instinctively feel that we're experiencing a bit of a golden era in popular music which has been long over due.I hope my songs connect with people and that they are appreciated for being melodic pop which I've always loved.I play regularly with my band,'Cold Shot' in and around Devon and Somerset in England performing rock and blues covers and some current chart material.I also play solo gigs with a mixture of covers and my own material.A web site address will be posted here within the next few weeks.Music will always make the world a better place so I shall continue to write songs and appreciate the wonderful array of music that is out there.
