Powers is a Harvard-trained lawyer and Columbia M.B.A. who practiced at White and Case before embarking on a writing career. Her work has since been featured in Oscar® and Tony® winning productions and recorded by #1- selling and multi-platinum artists worldwide. Corporate clients include Mattel, Hasbro, Disney, Universal, Lion's Gate, The Jim Henson Company, Film Roman and Activision.
Additionally she is a producer of the upcoming show HEATHERS, THE MUSICAL, written by Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, The Musical; Bat Boy) and Kevin Murphy (Reefer Madness, Desperate Housewives) and directed by Andy Fickman (Race To Witch Mountain, The Game Plan).
