While pursuing my doctorate in education I was studying with the famous guitarist/author Wolf Marshall. I became interested in the work of Pat Martino, specifically his improvisations on jazz standards. Pat and I have become friends over the years and I have with the help from several people I am producing a book of transcriptions of Pat Martino's improvisations on jazz standards that hope to someday publish.
