Hi Ronald! Many, many thanks for your 5 star ratings on my songs, "Ich Für Dich" and "Raindrops". Very much appreciated. Thanks so much for reaching out and getting in touch. Have just listened to your song "Lovers Heart" and I was first taken back by your brilliant vocal-WOW and the song is sooo cool. I see you have had a lot of success and I personally am not surprised by this, really professional. Will listen to more of your songs in the near future. Best, Paul

Hi Paul, My pleasure for the stars.. Well deserved.. I see you're living in Bavaria, which explains your ability to speak German. Have you lived there for a while?

25 years....it's great here. Believe me though, Ronald, it still took many takes of vocals to get the pronunciation right.

Where did you live in Germany?

Hi Paul, I will follow with you and tell my German "Love" story once I have time to do so. A clue would be to say that it is set partially in Koeln as well as Montreal!!!

Thanks Ronald. I actually have distant family out there in Canada. They moved over there after the war after being brought up in London. Their names would have been "Smalley". I have only passed through Köln on a trip with the family to Amsterdam a few years ago. A real carnival town, though!
I really appreciate the 5 stars on April Skies as well, by the way and really many thanks for that. After recording it at home countless times, I got the chance last year to record it in London and this is the recording from there. Go steady mate and catch up soon. Alles Gute, Paul

I never really lived in Germany. I met a girl, Claudia , when her classical sax quartet was playing in Montreal. Our love story blossomed into a more 2 year relationship where I would fly to see her in Koeln in the Altstadt where she lived. The rock and roll boisterous nightlife.. On another visit to Germany, we drove to Bavaria where her brother lives in München.. Next on the agenda,Freiburg where her sister lives...and then to Kirchzarten where she was born and where her mom and dad still live... At least 3 flights !!! Then Claudia moved to Montreal where we lived together for about 3 years. Well, the love story has ended and she now lives in Berlin...Well, that's it for now

Please, if you get a chance, go back to my songs where I just posted my at least 20 year old song now remixed "Beileid" A weird one!!!

Hi Ronald! You are absolutely right..... That is a really crazy song there. WOW! It's a real collage of different sounds, instruments, language interwining with German and English in a very, very unique style. Great sound though!

Thanks for the story. Mine is sort of the same but with a better outcome. 25 years marriage and 2 daughters. Life is good!

Best wishes for now,
Paul

Thanks for listening to "Beileid"

Congratulations on your 25 years of marriage and daughters!! Maybe I'll sing at your 50th wedding Anniversary if I'm in the neighbourhood !! I'll be 97.

I added your pub song "Old London Town" to several of my playlist. Very catchy tune!!

Keep well and creative,
Ron

Hi Ron! Long time no see! My wife and I just got back from Jaimaca on a 7 day cruise and I've decided to spend 1/3 of my year playing on a cruise ship! What could be more fun? I've always admired you and loved that your early videos showed some of those scenes. Got any tips for the catnip? catnip=+=

Hi Pat, first of all, what kind of venue would you wish to play on a ship and what other musician, if any, would be in the group?
