Growing up in the fifties influenced my music for life. Each radio station played all the genres, and so one was exposed to all types of songs. So I arrive these many years later, as a renaissance woman of music. I write varied music - silly, sad, love, life, historical, educational, etc. At age 50, I started taking guitar lessons so that I could show people how I wanted my songs to sound. With a great musical background from high school in piano and clarinet, , I had no problem starting to write songs. Still a kid at heart, one of my last goals in life is to hear just one of my songs on the air.
I grew up in southwestern PA, started college when I was 30, taught math grades 6-12 for 26 years and retired in 2003. I spent 25 years being a landlord cleaning and fixing things myself. I crochet, knit, garden, cook, bake, write songs, sew, have 3 cats, and spend a lot of time on the computer. I enjoy every day to the fullest. I am never bored.
