Hello fellow music lovers! My name is Sharon Hope and as long as I can remember, I have been singing. I grew up singing in church. I write my own songs and also do a lot of co-writing with producers, artists, and writers from all over the world. I also own my own publishing company called Hope Starr Music. I have been writing for over ten years now, but actually wrote my first song about twelve years ago. I am determined to get my songs recorded by major artists. I strongly believe I was put on this earth to touch people's lives with my music. Growing up in a small town(Mt.Airy, North Carolina), my four brothers and I didn't have much to do but sit around and listen to music. I got "hooked" , you could say, when I was in Jr.High school. My middle brother got me interested in rock music of the eighties. Needless to say, the 80's is my favorite time in music and has probably had the most influence on me and my own sound. I love all kinds of music. I write pop, country, rock, dance, hip-hop, cross-over, etc. I love it all. I plan on making my dreams come true with a lot of hard work and determination(and a little bit of luck). So, here is to all of us trying to make a dent in the human fabric of life. May we all create a "stitch" in music that can bind us all together in love and harmony. Peace and love to all.
