Out of Ether Bio
Midwest Recording Artists Out of Ether have a unique perspective on music
and on life. The name Out of Ether literally means, out of nowhere. "I
wouldn't say the 'frozen tundra' of Wisconsin is at the edge of the world,
but I think we can see it from here, especially come winter,"
says Aaron David lead singer." The trio was formed with the intention of
creating meaningful music and finding ways to help others. After several
years in 'development' with Sony ATV, member James Russell had hoped to
become a staff writer in Nashville. "Unfortunately, my Mom was diagnosed
with cancer and we decided to put everything on hold," says James. "We
have no regrets, but it changed our perspective immensely." After a
fortuitous meeting in Nashville, Out of Ether heard about Broadjam.
"Broadjam is an amazing company and there are so many talented people who
are part of this online community," says member
Brandon James. "Thanks to Broadjam, we were invited to attend the Academy
of Country Music Awards. Our song "Daddy Don't Let Go" was featured as
part of the "Life in the Years" project along side songs by Natalie
Merchant and Carly Simon. We have even won some really cool equipment and
software!" While Out of Ether continues to take Songwriting and Recording
seriously, when it comes to the Music Business they try to approach things
with a sense of humor. "After all, who would have thought that Beer, Snow
and Cheese could be such powerful fuel for inspiration and creativity!"
