June Biancalana

A musician/songwriter, June Biancalana hails from Sacramento, CA where she was the lead guitarist for the all-female metal band TANTRUM featuring vocalist extrodinaire Kate French of Vainglory out of Atlanta, GA. She has maintained a long-term songwriting partnership with fellow Tantrum guitarist and San Francisco Bay Area songwriter/producer, Lisa Mathena (iTunes). Their successes include 4 songs licensed for use. Two songs are published with MasterSource. June is currently the guitarist for the Northern Utah-based traditional Irish band The Dunmore Lasses (www.myspace.com/dunmorelasses, and recently engineered and produced their debut CD.

June is also busy writing acoustic and electronic atmospheric music, as well as acoustic and heavy metal insturmentals. Her goal is to score a small independent short film.
