I've played music for a living for over 40 years. I've been "made a star" 4 or 5 times and I never got the money. They say coming close is better than nothing. I think it's not much better. But I love music so much it's almost enough. I hope I can always get a little better at what I do and that someone out there hears something they like.

Listening is good...
...but really hearing is better...

I have been in the music business for over forty (that's right 40!) years. I am the new fresh face of music. I write music that makes me feel that I have sent a message in a bottle to someone who might get my point. Music is my medicine and my joy. I love my wife and my children beyond everything and a lot of my songs say so. I haven't really written my pissed off masterpiece yet but stay tuned. I would like to be the one who writes the next White Christmas or Maybe I'm Amazed or Whip It or Love Stinks- just as long as I can do a good job at what I was trying to write. Music is one of the greatest things that exists in this world and I love it dearly. One of my tunes, A Song Saved My Life, was written for Brian Wilson to hear. So,if you can get him to hear it, that would be swell. I think he would appreciate it's lyric and changes and harmonies. Maybe you would too. I hope so. See you at the Grammies or at a hot dog eating contest.
