R&B/Soul multi-instrumentalist, Taylor Pace was born into a musical family. He grew up singing, and at the age of thirteen, began playing the piano. He took to it quickly, and began songwriting and performing. At eighteen, he went to Howard University in Washington, DC to study jazz. He began gigging around the city, playing everything from jazz, to neo-soul, to go-go. Through his sensitive touch and keen musical sensibilities Taylor picked up gigs playing for Mario, Mya, Ruben Studdard, Anne Nesby, and George Huff among others. His sound is a mix of neo-soul and R&B with a rock undertone. He released "Return of the Phoenix," on which he wrote, sang, produced and played keys, guitar, bass and drums.
