I'm not sure how you got "monotone vocals" on Stop The War. Sure, the intro is a bit longer than most songs but it also is far from monotone. I've played it live for 20 years and it brings down the house every time. Monotone is definitely NOT an adjective that people use to describe my vocals. "Too boring?" If you did not like it, that is fine. If you can't offer any advice as to how you think it would be better, please just cancel and move on.
If you cannot offer constructive feedback, then please do not review--just pass. Gave bad marks for my country song being too country. No other feedback. THIS IS FROM THE BROADJAM WEBSITE FOR HOW TO DO REVIEWS If you just listened to a song and/or began reviewing a song that you feel you can't give any helpful comments for, you can choose not to submit the review for that song by clicking the Cancel button. Then just click on the Review Songs button and select another song. It is not helpful to the artist to say, "I don't like country music" or "This is just another boring pop song." Members of the Broadjam community submit their songs for peer review for the constructive criticism they hope to get in return. If you really don't have anything helpful to say please don't submit a review for the song, just select Cancel.
I'm not going to thank you for your lousy review of "The Day You Died". I will have it removed as soon as customer service is back in the office. I see you haven't been here long and have already offended Anita Andreis with your first review. You better do some more, because these 2 will be removed. By the way, The Day You Died is number four on the EARTH CHART. Hopefully your unfair review will not knock it off that chart.
obviously by the comments I'm reading your a harsh critic, and judging by what you have to offer in your own work, you may want to relax a little bit
I stand by my comments. I am not a harsh critic as anyone who has been reviewed by me knows. And if you have to resort to attacking a songwriter's work as you have, you lack civility and good taste.
Brian - I think Steve was just adding to your post, not calling you a harsh critic.
See what happens when I get mad? If that is so, please accept my apologies Steve.
