About me

Hi, I'm Laureine. I am a singer/songwriter. I live in Haiti but was born in the United States. I am now 14 and Music has a deep place in my heart. Every time I hear a song that moves me I feel the music, I make it feel like I'm the one singing that song and get very dramatic. I can't explain it "ha-ha".
My favorite color is turquoise and my favorite number is 22 because it's the day I was born. My favorite time of the year is summer because I get to enjoy my days for 2 months without worrying about homework and I don't have to feel stressed for anything; just know what I have to do and take it as slowly as possible before the summer ends.
My favorite place to be is the beach; I enjoy the fresh air and nature. I don't really like doing a lot of physical activities; but at the beach I really do love riding wave runners, I can say that it is my favorite sport.
I like knowing what's going on in people's lives. Even though it's none of my business, it makes me feel like I'm a part of something. I also like it when a lot of people know me; it makes me feel never forgotten.
I started writing music when I was 10 years old but really got into it at 12. I have lots of songs written but only recorded one so far, "The Same", which I wrote thinking about how people are always fighting because of stupid reasons and how at the end of the day everyone wants the same thing. They all want peace, maybe not in the same exact way. When people fight it doesn't help with the world. They end up taking sides and don't realize the damage they do around their community when they all just want it to be a perfect place.
I have the intention of making a great and big career out of my music. I just want people to enjoy, listen, understand and feel my music the way I do
