Lyrics
VS 1
There she was, in the dirt on her knees
Playing with the boys, winning marbles left and right
And even though she was only 14,
Rusty told his friend Andy "Someday that girl will be my wife"
Four years later, out in Vegas
They vowed the would always stay
CH
In love forever--that's what they dreamed about
Two together living as one, without a doubt
Whether things were better or worse, it would all turn out
For the better 'cause they were together
They were in love, in love forever
VS2
So in love, taking life as it came
Spending everyday living out their sweet love song
And in between work and raising two kids
It was easy to miss all those years that had come and gone
But everytime he looked in her eyes
He could find that little girl he loved
CH
They were in love forever, just like they dreamed about
Two together living as one, without a doubt
And whether things were better or worse, it would all work out
For the better 'cause they were together
They were in love, in love forever
BR
Another boy-meets-girl love story
May seem a little boring
But not all love is made to last
And now I'm lookin' for one like Mom & Dad's
CH
In love forever, just like they dreamed about
Two together living as one, without a doubt
And whether things were better or worse, it all worked out
For the better 'cause they were together
They were in love, in love forever
