Benedictio was birthed out of a desire to lead others into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. As Catholics we have found that many in our Church have come to know the Lord in their minds, yet not all have come to know the Lord in their hearts. Knowing first hand that art and music have the power to transcend to the depths of the human heart we have attempted to craft songs that allow the Holy Spirit to enter and overflow from within.

Melodically, we strive to set a tone that allows the Church to give herself to Christ totally and completely. Lyrically, we aim to write words that give the Church body a voice with which to pray.

All of our music is designed to go hand-in-hand with liturgical worship - Mass, Adoration, Confession - and has been approved for use in Catholic liturgy by The Most Reverend William Lori, Archbishop of Baltimore and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
